Masters Cycle League’s first race of the year

Here’s a report from www.masterscycleleague.com on the season’s first Masters Cyclce League race, which took place Feb. 14…

“It was Amgen/Giant scoring first as Chris Demarchi picked up the first points preem of the year at the Roger Millikan Criterium. Then, a decisive move by Kahala/LaGrange’s Aron Gadhia tied the score. With a huge field of 125 riders and 11 MCL teams, the final chance to score points was one huge mass sprint. Amgen/Giant’s Antony Galvan scored the 8 point win but the depth of Sho-air’s team gave them the win for the day scoring 2nd, 3rd, 7th and 8th for 16 points. Amgen/Giant’s 1st, 4th and 2 point preem keeps them within one point of the leaders while Ironfly, Swami’s and Kahala/LaGrange get on the scoreboard too. Next race coming up March 29th.”
